Dann, Hamish, and the team came out to perform a complicated three phase and board upgrade, including sub boards in my sheds. I found the whole team to be polite, and hard working. It was a very challenging job, but Dann's team did not compromise on quality or safety. I'm impressed with thier professional approach to the job, and they left the site tidy and clean. I will absolutely be calling them again next time I need works done.

Highly recommend Ben from Danns Electrical, we couldn't be happier with his service. Ben quickly came up with solutions for our issues and did a fantastic job installing sensor lights and power points. He provided excellent, reliable and professional service, we wouldn't use anyone else. 5 Stars

Exceptional electrician, experience really makes all the difference! We honestly cannot recommend Dan highly enough! We'd been dealing with an incredibly frustrating, intermittent electrical issue in our kitchen for ages. The power would trip seemingly out of nowhere, sometimes only once every six months, making it almost impossible to pinpoint the cause. We'd spent so much time troubleshooting, unplugging appliances and trying to work out what on earth was going on. Just when we thought we'd figured it out, the problem would eventually happen again! We finally called Dan, and honestly, we were absolutely mind blown. Within less than five minutes of arriving, he had figured out the issue! After all the time we'd spent scratching our heads over it, watching him identify the problem so quickly was incredible. It really showed us the difference that genuine experience, technical knowledge and expertise make. What had been an ongoing headache for us was something Dan was able to work through almost immediately. We're so glad we called him. It's such a relief to have someone who genuinely knows their trade and can get to the bottom of a problem without hours of guesswork. If you're looking for an electrician who knows what they're doing, is experienced and can troubleshoot those frustrating electrical issues that others might struggle to pinpoint, give Dan a call. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will absolutely be using him again. Thanks, Dan, you've earned every one of these five stars!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I hired Dann's Electrical to perform a switchboard upgrade at my home in Oct 2026. Communication from the outset was phenomenal and they instilled more confidence than the 3 other competitive others I'd invited to tender for the works. Pricing was more competitive to boot. When Dan's tradesman Hamish and apprentice Cody rocked up with the new board, due to unforeseen circumstances, it quickly became apparent that there was much more to the job than had initially been expected. This is after the Level 2 electrician had disconnected us from street power and left. There was no turning back now. Without going into too much detail, Hamish and Cody's day had gone from a reasonably paced knock-off-on-time job to an "oh f*************k" kinda day. Not once did the boys grumble or moan or swear (as I certainly would have.) Nor did they let a moment go to waste. They were in it now and they didn't stop until the job was done. Upon finishing the job, I couldn't fault a single thing from their professionalism, the presentation and cable management of the new board to their clean-up effort at the end of the job when all they would have wanted was to go home a take a long shower in silence to wash the helluva day off 'em. BONUS POINTS! As with any older home, some of the building materials the fellas encountered were aged out and brittle: a roof tile broke as they were putting it back in. What did they do? Silicon up the remains and not let me find out until the next big rain because "where are we going to find a replacement for a 40+ year old tile?" Nope! The industrious young blokes jumped on fb marketplace, miraculously tracked down a local seller who had something that matched and drove out to his place to pick up a replacement (with a spare for me to keep.) I said at the top of this spiel that if i could give 5 stars, I would. I hope you now understand why. Dan, if you're reading this: don't let Hamish and Cody out of your sight. Any employer would be lucky to have 2 young guns of this calibre in their stable. Hats off, boys!

Dan came out to my place early on a Saturday morning to fix problems with the wiring in my switchboard, so we could get our power back after a storm. He got us going and provided advice on what we might want to look at upgrading. Dan was very nice and, arrived when he said he would, and did a great job.
Warehouse electricians

Electrical support for sites that never really stop

Dann's Electrical looks after warehouses, distribution centres and cold storage across Penrith and greater Sydney.

Warehouses run long hours, often around the clock. A failed high-bay row, a tripped dock door circuit or a dead cool room hits everything downstream. We look after the electrical side so problems are found on a maintenance visit, not at 2am.

We work on sites across Western Sydney, Marsden Park, Erskine Park and the new estates around the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, from fit-outs and supply upgrades to scheduled maintenance and night-shift breakdowns.

Warehouse compliance

The electrical rules a warehouse has to keep up with

Fire safety and RCD rules from Fire and Rescue NSW, Building Commission NSW and SafeWork NSW.

Fire safety statement done? Display it and send it in

Display it
and give Fire and Rescue NSW a copy

Fire and Rescue NSW says the building owner must give the Commissioner a copy of the annual fire safety statement and make sure a copy is prominently displayed in the building.

AS 1851 now applies: keep 7 years of records

7 years
fire safety records building owners must keep

Building Commission NSW says buildings must comply with AS 1851-2012 from 13 February 2026, with records kept for at least 7 years. Emergency exit lighting isn't covered by AS 1851.

Plug-in gear in harsh conditions? RCDs are required

30 mA
maximum trip current for outlets up to 20 A

SafeWork NSW says RCDs must be used, where reasonably practicable, to protect workers using plug-in equipment in hostile environments, with a trip current of no more than 30 mA.

FAQs

Warehouse electrician questions

Ask us anything
Can you work under warehouse and logistics site inductions?

Yes. We complete each site's induction before work starts. We're CM3 certified, fully insured and used to site inductions, permits and working around forklifts and dock traffic.

Do you support night shifts?

Yes. We respond 24/7 to breakdowns and can schedule maintenance and upgrades around your shifts.

Do you test emergency and exit lighting?

Yes, we install, test and repair emergency and exit lighting so the building owner can keep up with their annual fire safety obligations.

Can you install forklift and fleet EV charging?

Yes. We install charging circuits and EV chargers for forklifts and fleet vehicles, and check your supply can take the load.

How often should a warehouse switchboard be checked?

There's no single legal interval, but an annual thermal scan and maintenance visit is a sensible minimum for busy sites. We'll recommend a schedule.

Will I get a compliance certificate?

Yes. NSW electricians must submit a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) through Building Commission NSW’s eCert portal no later than seven days after completing the work, including the safety and compliance test, and a copy can be sent to you automatically.

Are you CM3 certified?

Yes. Dann's Electrical is CM3 certified. Cm3 is a contractor prequalification platform businesses use to assess a contractor's safety and compliance before engaging them.

Which areas do you cover?

All across Sydney. We look after sites in Wetherill Park, Kemps Creek and the western industrial precincts, plus Penrith, the Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury.
