Lost power in half the power points in my house. Couldn't figure out why. Called Dann's Electrical. Within 30 minutes Dann turned up. Spent time explaining what the probable fault was and how to go about tracking it down. Together we sorted the problem in a few minutes and solved it. He made sure by testing the connections in the power box to ensure that it was working OK. […] I learnt so much listening to him. I found the call out and Dann's informative manner and communication reassuring. Also briefly discussed a possible future project. Highly recommend Dann's Electrical for any electrical job.

Dann, Hamish, and the team came out to perform a complicated three phase and board upgrade, including sub boards in my sheds. I found the whole team to be polite, and hard working. It was a very challenging job, but Dann's team did not compromise on quality or safety. I'm impressed with thier professional approach to the job, and they left the site tidy and clean. I will absolutely be calling them again next time I need works done.

Exceptional electrician, experience really makes all the difference!

We honestly cannot recommend Dan highly enough!

We'd been dealing with an incredibly frustrating, intermittent electrical issue in our kitchen for ages. The power would trip seemingly out of nowhere, sometimes only once every six months, making it almost impossible to pinpoint the cause. We'd spent so much time troubleshooting, unplugging appliances and trying to work out what on earth was going on. Just when we thought we'd figured it out, the problem would eventually happen again!

We finally called Dan, and honestly, we were absolutely mind blown. Within less than five minutes of arriving, he had figured out the issue! After all the time we'd spent scratching our heads over it, watching him identify the problem so quickly was incredible.

It really showed us the difference that genuine experience, technical knowledge and expertise make. What had been an ongoing headache for us was something Dan was able to work through almost immediately.

We're so glad we called him. It's such a relief to have someone who genuinely knows their trade and can get to the bottom of a problem without hours of guesswork.

If you're looking for an electrician who knows what they're doing, is experienced and can troubleshoot those frustrating electrical issues that others might struggle to pinpoint, give Dan a call. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will absolutely be using him again.

Had some light fittings changed and quotes done for an electrical box overhaul. Electrician and admin staff were super helpful and professional. The jobs were completed to a high standard. I will definitely be using this company again.

Dan came out to one of my jobs saturday morning. he was prompt, came out straight away and was very professional. got the job done and was very reasonably priced. highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I hired Dann's Electrical to perform a switchboard upgrade at my home in Oct 2026.

Communication from the outset was phenomenal and they instilled more confidence than the 3 other competitive others I'd invited to tender for the works. Pricing was more competitive to boot.

When Dan's tradesman Hamish and apprentice Cody rocked up with the new board, due to unforeseen circumstances, it quickly became apparent that there was much more to the job than had initially been expected.

This is after the Level 2 electrician had disconnected us from street power and left. There was no turning back now.

Not once did the boys grumble or moan or swear (as I certainly would have.) Nor did they let a moment go to waste. They were in it now and they didn't stop until the job was done.

Upon finishing the job, I couldn't fault a single thing from their professionalism, the presentation and cable management of the new board to their clean-up effort at the end of the job when all they would have wanted was to go home a take a long shower in silence to wash the helluva day off 'em.

BONUS POINTS! As with any older home, some of the building materials the fellas encountered were aged out and brittle: a roof tile broke as they were putting it back in. What did they do? Silicon up the remains and not let me find out until the next big rain because "where are we going to find a replacement for a 40+ year old tile?" Nope! The industrious young blokes jumped on fb marketplace, miraculously tracked down a local seller who had something that matched and drove out to his place to pick up a replacement (with a spare for me to keep.)

I said at the top of this spiel that if i could give 5 stars, I would. I hope you now understand why.

Dan, if you're reading this: don't let Hamish and Cody out of your sight. Any employer would be lucky to have 2 young guns of this calibre in their stable.

Excellent service and very reasonably priced – Ben was very thorough in ascertaining what the actual issue was, (a hidden damaged mains cable which was arcing and had taken out half of the power to the house), then figured out the most efficient way to repair it. Also installed a power outlet in a spot I've wanted a one for ages. Honestly cant rate him and Danns Electrical highly enough.

Danns replaced the old fusebox at our house with a new switchboard. Tidy, professional job: a neat installation, everything cleaned up afterwards and no fuss along the way. Would happily use them again.

The work was very good – the tradies who did the work, Ethan and Issac were very nice, cleaned up, and did the required work very well – I am very happy with the result and will use Danns Electrical again!

Needed an emergency call out as I lost all power to my house.

Dan and his team were happy to help, didn’t take advantage of my circumstance and were very reasonably priced

After another electrician had previously completed some very poor-quality work at our home, we were left in a difficult position. When this team came out to quote an unrelated job, they noticed the workmanship straight away. After hearing what had happened, the owner reached out to us personally and showed a level of kindness and professionalism that is rare these days.

What impressed us just as much as the quality of the electrical work was the quality of the people. The team spent an entire Saturday at our home making everything right, and every single one of them was polite, respectful, hardworking and genuinely lovely to have around. They spoke to each other with respect, communicated brilliantly as a team, and even took the time to chat with our children, making them feel included and comfortable. It’s obvious that the culture within this business starts from the top.

Dan was a lifesaver when we were stuck with NBN refusing to do the work needed to get us setup. He came out the day after I called and immediately found what NBN couldn't and provided truly valuable insight that we needed to take back to them. I just want to express my thanks the DannsElectrical.com.au for their courtesy, consideration, care, and professionalism in the way they rectified my electric power issues in my home at Emu Heights. My home is over 50 years old and required replacement of several circuit breakers. Because of its age, the Meter Box had an asbestos backing plate that also required to be replaced. DannsElectrical were quick to respond to my request for support; all staff that attended were friendly and caring. The job was completed with minimum fuss. I've posted before about the trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent work by Dann's Electrical. This is ZeRo StreSS for me.

Dan comes up with solutions, follows up, and makes sure everything is satisfactory in the evening after work was done.

A ceiling fan couldn't be installed in my 1972 flat, where I needed a solution to the problem of poor ventilation and mould in the bathroom.

Yesterday, Nathan fixed a wall fan through a vent near the ceiling. Then with ZeRo StreSS to me, pixie switches and my phone, Nathan connected an on/off button for fan using the existing light switch.

All members of the Dann's Electrical team are cheerful, courteous, and they clean up after the job. There has never been a need to recall for work done, there has never been any stress with any of the interactions, or regrets from any of the work done by Dan and his team. For yesterday's work, that includes Cody's professional updates and communications. Thanks guys.

Dan called into my place to do some electrical work. He was punctual and carried through the service with a smile. When he arrived at my place we found out that we needed further parts to finish the job. I had suggested that he came back once I had the parts available. To my surprise he knocked on my door half an hour later with the parts, with 1/2 hour travel to buy them. Not only that, he also didn’t charge me for the parts as a good gesture. If that’s not an outstanding service then what is?

The job was finished with a professional touch and the cost was very reasonable.

This definitely exceeded my expectations and no doubt I asked him over again.

Dan made time after hours to help us with our oven. It turned out to be a switch that I was unaware of had been knocked to the off position by a pan in our cupboard. Dan found it, switched it back on and refused to take any payment for his time. A life saver – I was looking at a replacement oven for ~$1,800 and he fixed it for free in a minute.
